MIND METRIC / HOW TO COMPARE MEMORY SUPPLEMENTS

BUYER'S FRAMEWORK

How to Compare Memory Supplements

There is no responsible universal “best” memory supplement. A better comparison starts with your goal, the product label, evidence quality, safety and total cost.

Health information: This site is educational and does not provide medical advice. Dietary supplements can have side effects and interactions. Discuss supplement use with a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition.

1. Define the goal without turning it into a diagnosis

“I want a simpler formula to discuss with my clinician” is a more useful buying criterion than assuming a supplement can treat unexplained memory problems.

2. Prefer formulas you can audit

Exact ingredient amounts and clear serving information make research comparison easier. Proprietary blends can make dose-level evaluation difficult.

3. Match evidence to the actual product

Human research on one standardized extract does not necessarily transfer to every extract, dose or finished formula.

4. Include safety in the scorecard

Medication interactions, contraindications and tolerability are part of product quality from the user's perspective.

5. Compare cost per serving

Bundle discounts can lower the apparent price, but they also increase commitment. Compare the actual serving cost and read refund terms.
